If you're a fan of handsome and friendly tabby cats, then Cheeks might be the perfect match for you! Cheeks is a relaxed and patient four-year-old who enjoys being picked up and fancies himself a lap cat. Cheeks loves playing with wand toys, feathers, and catnip, and he's happy to sleep anywhere, especially in high spots where he can feel safe and watch the world outside. He also likes to join you on the couch to watch TV. Cheeks is skilled at making biscuits and enjoys kneading soft blankets. He's good with the toddler in his foster home, so he'd be comfortable in a household with children. Having lots of space to roam and a quiet room to retreat from loud noises would be ideal for him. We don't know how he is with other cats or dogs. Cheeks was found alone on a farm. He was not microchipped, but his friendly nature leads us to believe he was abandoned there. Life is about to get so much better for Cheeks as he looks for his forever home at last. Cheeks has a very friendly and gentle disposition. He will make the perfect addition to the ideal home, where he can relax, watch TV and make biscuits for you.Adoption processWe also conduct vet checks for all applicants. Due to Covid we are not doing home visits at this time. We are very diligent in our screening of potential adopters. Applications are approved based on best fit for the cat, not first come, first served.Shelter locationWe are currently in the adoption centre at PetSmart Etobicoke, where we have a limited number of cats and kittens. All of our available cats can be viewed on our website.
