Description:

DOB April 1, 2019. Hello, my name is Pinkerton though our foster humans call me Pinky. I am best friends with Sassafras and would really like to be adopted with her. As you can see in her bio, we've had some adventures together and look out for each other.I'm friendly, too, though a bit shyer than Sassy. I'm learning to trust humans as well and will need lots of time and a bit of patience too. However, I love my foster mom and, like Sassy, will often sit close to her in the evenings and let her pet or brush me. I also like to chat with her about my day whenever I see her. Given time, I will surely come around and be a sociable companion to my forever humans. Like Sassy, I like to play and run around at different times of the day, mostly in the mornings and evenings. During the days, I usually enjoy a good long nap and, once I've found a favourite spot, that's where you're likely to find me. Note from Pinky's foster family:Pinky also loves to use a scratching post and has not touched any of the furniture. She's a healthy girl and is very much a grazer, preferring dry food. She is also good about using the litter box in the basement. She likes being brushed and petted; in fact, a few days of regular brushing transformed her from a bit of a ragamuffin into quite a lovely, sleek lady. Like Sassy, she really doesn't care for being picked up though. She's a beautiful cat and has been a pleasure to have around the house. With her pal, Pinky, they will brighten up your home as well. Thanks for considering this gentle BFF pair.Pinkerton was found as a stray. Thank you for giving two best friends a loving home together! Our adoption fee for an adult bonded pair is $150 per cat, versus our standard fee of $200 per adult cat.Adoption processAdoption fee is $200 per adult cat, and $250 for kittens (under 8 months old). This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the attention they need, are spayed or neutered, and receive a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age. For City of Toronto residents, the adoption fee includes a mandatory City of Toronto cat license that is valid for one year. As you can imagine, these fees only begin to cover our costs; donations and ongoing fundraising efforts carry us the rest of the way! Note: -Senior cats (8 years or older) have an adoption fee of the adopter's choice, vs. our standard adult adoption fee of $200.-Our adoption fee for an adult bonded pair (8 months or older) is $150 per cat vs. $200 per cat. Thanks for giving two loving friends a home together!
