Spruce/ MapleA very nice vintage guitar from possibly Ukraine's best known and most celebrated classical guitar luthier.Darren Hippner reviews this guitar as follows --- Best of the 3 [Yeshchenkos] I've had....very light and super easy to play.a real beauty , nice belly on the back , light as a feather , french polished throughout ,low fast action , i installed new frets and added on a mastodon saddle ( pre-historic ancient wooly mammoth )also comes with original bone saddle , case is old and beat but still functionaltony nugent was asking $6500 for this back in 2015.Work was recently (done in July 2023) done by professional classical guitar luthier Darren Hippner on this guitar ---refret with jumbo frets + new nut and mammoth saddle ( $600 worth )Mammoth is 10,000 years old. The tone is vibrant and very rich , adding lots of color and depth to the vibrations.
